In our classrooms
The Year 4/5/6 classes would like to extend an invitation to all families and friends of Taradale Primary School to our Maker’s Market tomorrow.
Over the past few weeks, we have been handcrafting a unique range of products from reclaimed and recycled materials. There is a huge range of products available for sale from insect hotels and bread bags to jewellery and crafted pets, just to list a few. This has been part of our inquiry unit ‘Empowered Economy’ during which we learned about the different types of economies, the impacts that they can have on people and the environment, financial literacy and entrepreneurial thinking. We are very excited to share our learning and stalls with you at our Marker’s Market.
The Maker’s Market will be held tomorrow - Thursday the 25th from 2.30-3.15pm at the Taradale P.S multipurpose-room.
Students will have the opportunity to visit the Marker’s Market earlier in the day with their class. Over the next few days, the 4/5/6 students will going around to the classes to showcase some of their products and invite them along on.
The price range for the items is from $1 to $10.
We hope to see everyone there.
