Inter School Sport

Earlier this week, some of our students competed in the Northern Peninsula Division playoffs for our Interschool Sport Program.

Congratulations to our girls Netball team who finished the playoffs as champions and will now progress to the Southern Regional Finals in Pakenham later this term. 

A big thanks to Mrs Evans who helped coach the girls in Mrs Polydor’s absence.

Our Boys/Mixed and Girls Teeball teams also competed in the same playoffs at Wilsons Reserve in Mornington on Monday, where they were up against Karingal Primary School and Flinders College.

Both teams hadn’t been able to train much as there was no Teeball competition at district level, which meant all of the students needed to play a different sport throughout the program in term 2. 

That being said, they all put in a wonderful effort in the short time they had to work on their skills. Karingal proved to be too strong for both our boy's and girls' teams, however the girls managed to beat Flinders by a single run to finish second overall. Well done to all students involved for giving Tee ball a go!
