Representative Council

Hi everyone, 

The Student Representative Council held a meeting last week. They used their student voices to impact life at RHPS. First of all, the group discussed the Well-Being and Engagement  Policy with Mrs Murcott. 

Next, they met with Tara from our amazing Parents and Friends team. They looked at a variety of catalogues and chose some awesome gifts for the upcoming Father's Day Stall. We would like to thank Tara and the P&F Committee for organising this and allowing the SRC to select the items on behalf of our students. 

Lastly, the SRC finalised their fundraiser for Term 3. They have decided to support Animal Aid in Coldstream. This local charity sees over 5,000 animals in need through their door each year, so every little bit counts! 

Winter is a particularly difficult time for the organisation and they are always in need of cat and dog food, as well as second-hand towels and blankets (not sheets and doonas please). 

The SRC will provide more information next week and will be taking donations from the beginning of Week 4 until the end of Week 8. Look out for information on Compass, and on posters and flyers around the school. Thanks for your support!
