College Principal Report
Dear Keysborough College Community,
I am pleased to share with you that the School Review process has now been completed. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all members of the Keysborough College community who were involved. This thorough process allowed us to reflect on our achievements and identify areas for growth. The review is a vital part of our continuous improvement journey, ensuring that we provide the best possible learning environment for our students.
For those unfamiliar, the School Review involves a comprehensive evaluation of our school’s practices, achievements, and goals. It brings together staff, students, and parents to provide valuable feedback, which helps shape our future direction. The result of this process is our new School Strategic Plan for 2025-2028, which will outline our key priorities and objectives for the next four years. This plan will be shared with you in the coming weeks, and I encourage you to take the time to familiarise yourself with it as it sets the course for our ongoing commitment to excellence.
On 20th August, we celebrated our Banksia campus athletics carnival, and I am thrilled to report that it was a tremendous success. The spirit of competition was matched only by the display of our school values—Respect, Excellence, and Diversity. It was heartening to see our students supporting one another, striving for their personal best, and celebrating each other’s achievements. The Acacia campus will have its turn this coming Monday, weather permitting, and I look forward to another day where our school community shines.
This term has also been filled with numerous other events and activities that reflect the vibrancy and commitment of our students and staff. We’ve had successful camps, exciting volleyball championships, and course counselling sessions that align with our 2025 program. The Year 12 formal was a memorable evening, and our students impressed us with their elegance, maturity, and embodiment of our school values. Additionally, our recent school music awards have highlighted the incredible talent we have at Keysborough College. I want to thank our students for their involvement, dedication, and for consistently upholding our values in all these endeavours.
As we move into the final weeks of Term 3, I am filled with both optimism and pride. I look forward to the continued achievements and milestones that our students will undoubtedly reach.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
