St Mary MacKillop Feast Day Mass

The Ephesus (year 3) and Galilee (Foundation) Communities will celebrate the Mass for the Feast Day of Mary of the Cross (Mary MacKillop) on 7th August. The actual feast day is Thursday 8th August, but to allow St Peter's students and St Thomas the Apostle students an opportunity to plan and participate, Father Jithen has granted permission to have both days for Mary of the Cross.

If any parents and friends would like to come and celebrate with us and acknowledge our very own Australian saint, come along on Wednesday 7th August, 9:30am in the church.

Confirmation Ceremonies this weekend

Let's pray for our Confirmation candidates this weekend, as they celebrate this sacrament with Bishop Greg. They will be receiving the gifts of the Holy Spirit in a special way and we all wish them well for this occasion on Saturday.

Everyone is welcome to come to the church to support them, either at the 11am or 2pm Mass on Saturday 27th July. Candidates, remember to be at the church at least half an hour before the ceremony starts.

First Communion 2024 Program has begun

Parents of our First Communion candidates came along on Tuesday night this week to explore their role to lead their child in learning about Eucharist. Next Tuesday night 30th July, the other half of the group will come along for the repeated session. Congratulations to these families for choosing this path for their child.
