Principal's Message
From the Principal
Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to Semester 2 and the start of Term 3. The term has started well with so many exciting things to look forward to as a community.
I would like to say a big thank you to all of the staff and students for surprising me with a very special assembly this morning. Today is Australian Primary Principals' Day and I was very lucky to be honoured and to receive such beautiful thoughts, medals and flowers. Thank you to each and every one of you, I am so privileged to lead such an amazing community.

Next Thursday 8th August we will be celebrating the Feast Day of our Patron Saint, Mary MacKillop. Mary MacKillop was a remarkably strong female leader in the 19th Century in Australia and education in this country is what it is today thanks to her dedication and determination. She was the first Australian to be declared a Saint by the Roman Catholic Church and was known as Mother Mary of the Cross throughout her lifetime.
On Sunday 11th August our Parish Community will be joining together to celebrate Fr John Greig and his 40th Anniversary. Please come along to the 10.30am Mass and join us in wishing him congratulations.
On Tuesday 20th August we are very excited to be celebrating Book Week and Grandparents' Day. Please save this special date in your calendars and keep an eye out for more information being sent via compass early next week.
Lastly, Father's Day is also coming up quickly this term. We will hold the Father's Day Stall on Wednesday 28th August and a Breakfast and Liturgy on Friday 30th August.
I look forward to seeing what wonderful things we will achieve as a community this term!
