On Thursday 8th August, Resurrection School will remember the great life of our Australian saint- Saint Mary of the Cross (Mary MacKillop). She dedicated her life to helping those in need to get an education, housing and food.
We are calling on families, if they are able, to donate to those in need just like Mary MacKillop.
Prep Level | Packaged foods: eg. pasta, rice |
Year 1 and Year 2s | Breakfast foods: eg. cereal, long life milk, fruit juice, tea bags, coffee |
Year 3 and Year 4s | Canned foods/food in jars: eg. baked beans. pasta sauce, canned vegetables |
Year 5 and Year 6 | Toiletries: eg. tissues, soaps, shampoo & conditioner |
Please send donations to your child's classroom.
All donations are brought to school by Friday 9th August (Week 4).

Saint Mary of the Cross Classroom Prayer
The Year 6 Faith and Social Justice Leaders visited each of the classrooms to remind students about the life of St Mary of the Cross (MacKillop) before we celebrate a whole school liturgy on August 8th. Thank you to the Year 6 students for their amazing leadership skills.

Saint Mary of the Cross (MacKillop) Whole School Liturgy
Parents are invited to join their child in the classroom for our Saint Mary of the Cross liturgy on Thursday 8th August. The liturgy will be held 9.00-9.20am.
