Upcoming STEM events (revised dates)

Thursday 1st August – Year 3 and Year 4 Stop Motion Online Film Festival 

Over the past term, Year 3 and Year 4 classes have been learning the craft of stop motion animation. In groups they have scripted, created and filmed their own stop motion film during their weekly STEM sessions. All the films will be collated and sent to families as a YouTube link that they can watch as a family from home on Thursday 1st August. Unveil the red carpet at home!

Year 5-6 Earth & Space Expos

The Year 5 and Year 6 classes have completed an Inquiry STEM project about Earth & Space Sciences over the past term. They will be showcasing their projects to the school community during their STEM sessions next week. 

Family members are invited to drop into the STEM room during these times to see their child’s project and hear firsthand about their journey through the Design Cycle.
