The senior students from Years 3-6 displayed remarkable resilience despite the cold weather during their Athletics Carnival on Friday, July 19, held at Lakeside Stadium in Albert Park. It was an exhilarating day marked by camaraderie and enthusiasm among classmates.
The day featured a variety of events, including the 100m sprint, 100m relay, 200m sprint, optional 800m race, long jump, and vortex throw. One standout moment was the teachers' relay, where Miss Elara led the Year 5/6 teachers' team to victory, showcasing exceptional sportsmanship and passion that resonated with all the students.

In other sports news, congratulations to Hana Diers for achieving 11th place in the recent State Cross Country event—a significant accomplishment.
Moving to netball, following their victory in the Southport District Netball Competition, our school competed in the Beachside Division Netball Competition on Monday, July 22.
They faced strong competition from five other schools and secured a commendable second place. The team demonstrated impressive technical skills and exceptional teamwork.
