RE NEWS
We are looking forward to celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation of 15 of our Sacred Heart students from Year Five and Six on Friday 26th July. I'd like to thank Marty and Deb (who has replaced Marie, whilst she has been on long service leave) for teaching all our Year 4/5 and 5/6 students about this special Sacrament of Initiation. They also guided students to complete some wonderful projects on a saint of their choosing. In the coming week students will share their saints stories with the junior classes.
A very big thank you to a small number of students who are attending the Confirmation to assist Marty and I in singing at this special Mass - it is greatly appreciated and I will share a photo of our singers in the next newsletter.
WELLBEING NEWS
Next Wednesday the 31st of July is a school closure day and an opportunity for all staff at Sacred Heart to take part in a Professional Learning Day. This day will see us exploring the current research and practices regarding mental health and wellbeing. This will help us continue to improve the experience of our students at Sacred Heart. I look forward to sharing more about this day with families next week.
