Science

To round up our Biology learning from Term 1, we had another exciting day with Earl from WildlifeXposure on Wednesday to present a range of animals to the Year 3s and 1s. This time he brought along Luna the squirrel glider, Ambrose the barn owl, Stumpy the shingleback lizard, Toothless the forest dragon lizard, Booger the freshwater turtle, Freddo the green tree frog, Alby the albino carpet python, Nagini the 20kg olive python, and Johnny the freshwater crocodile.

This semester students will study earth and space science, which will no doubt be intriguing and interesting! During Term 3, the Year 5s will be looking at and thinking about the earth and our solar system, the Year 3s will get their geology on by studying the earth's resources, the Year 1s will notice and track the man-made and natural environmental changes that take place over time, and our Prep students will become weather experts! Watch this space for more information and photos of our learning as the term progresses.
