Sports News
Welcome back to a busy Term 3. In PE this term, students will get the chance to participate in a range of striking activities focusing on skills required in sports such as golf, hockey, cricket, badminton, tennis, lacrosse and tee ball. Our junior students will learn the basic striking concepts whilst our senior students will apply those skills in a game sense situation.
Congratulations to Jessica Tran who won the gold medal in the Karate Victorian Regional Championships held in Winchelsea in the holidays. What a fantastic achievement!
Winter Sports
This Friday commences our winter sports for grades 5 and 6. We will be hopping on a bus and heading to Colac South West PS. The winter sports are a great way to mix with other students in the community whilst playing sports. Students will get the chance to participate in a variety of sports including football, netball, soccer, teeball and more. The games are played with wonderful sportsmanship and we look forward to tomorrow’s games.
