PARENT/CARER/TEACHER CONVERSATIONS

Thank you to all parents/carers who attended parent/carer/teacher conversations and to our teachers for their time and commitment. These discussions are an important part of supporting each student's learning and wellbeing.

Families in the classes of Ms Schefe, Ms Philp, Ms Doherty and Ms Elliott have received Compass notifications regarding conversations that will be held during the first week of Term 3 while these teachers are on long service leave. Ms Schefe's meetings will be held in the principal's office, while meetings for Ms Philp, Ms Doherty and Ms Elliott will take place in the Year 3 space (former Library), with entry via the OSHC door on Noila Street.

GWPS SOCCER WORLD CUP

Thank you to Mr Ramage for coordinating our Junior and Senior Soccer World Cup competitions. Students have thoroughly enjoyed representing different countries during recess and lunchtime games. We look forward to crowning our World Cup champions.

HOUSE COLOURS DAY

Students had a fantastic time at our annual House Colours Day, participating in cross-age STEM, Art and Sport activities led by our Year 6 students. The day concluded with the House Chant Competition and RISE Awards. Thank you to Mrs Jones for coordinating another successful event and to all students for proudly wearing their house colours.

GRADE 5 CAMP

Grade 5 students will attend camp in Kyneton from Wednesday 5th – Friday 7th August. Further information will be shared early next term.

HOLIDAY WORKS

During the school holidays, student toilets will receive a deep clean while planning continues for future upgrades. Plumbers will also be onsite to repair several water leaks.

END OF TERM

We finished Term 2 in World Cup style, with students and staff wearing green and gold, enjoying a soccer-themed dance session, watching the GWPS World Cup finals and viewing the Socceroos' final pool match against Paraguay on the big screen. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of a successful term.

We wish all families a safe and enjoyable holiday break and look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday 14th July. Staff return on Monday 13th July for a Curriculum Day (pupil free day) focused on progressing actions from our 2026 Annual Implementation Plan.
