Week's 10 and 11

 

 

Foundation- Grade 6 

 

All students will have a discussion about the individual class items and the two songs[whole school items] for the concert in relation to the performance on the night. What things are needed to be revised, changed, refined or practised to make it a great one?

They will rehearse the concert items, revising and practising the ideas discussed.

 

Each class will practice two songs.   Focus: Volume, clarity, feeling/emotion, energy in voice[bounce] participation, concentration.

 

 

F- 4

Each class will practice their dance item.  Focus: repetitions in the dance, word /dance step associations, the beat/rhythm of the music, direction i.e. left/right/clockwise/anti-clockwise, facial expression, bounce

 

Gr 5-6 

Two groups of girls will practice their dance items.- Focus: tricky parts, word/dance step association, beat/rhythm of music, facial expressions, bounce.

 

The remaining students will rehearse their skits. 

Focus:  voice-tone/volume/clarity/

facial expressions/gestures/body language/movements
