Swimming Program

We have begun our swimming and water safety program this week. We have been developing our stroke technique and swimming fitness as we head into a warm summer. We have explored potential dangers around water and what you need to do if you find yourself in trouble. We also have time at the end of lessons for little games and activities to further develop our skills.

State Cricket

Last Friday, the Senior Girls Cricket team travelled to Junction Oval in St Kilda to compete in the SSV State Cricket Competition.

We found ourselves in close battles and lost two of our four games by less than 15 runs and winning our final game comfortably.

The girls had implemented many of their tactics into the game such as fielding positions, batting positions and bowling combinations. It was fantastic to see development in their fielding over the past few weeks, stopping many important runs, taking crucial catches, and even getting a handful of run-outs along the way.

A huge thank you to all the supporters who travelled down with the girls, we hope you were entertained!

School Uniform and Hats

Just a reminder about our school uniform policy.

  • The expectation is that ALL students have their own hat at school with their name on it.
  • Students need to wear green socks and black shoes when we do not have PE or Bluearth.
  • Earrings need to be studs or sleepers.
  • No nail polish or necklaces.
  • White socks and runners on PE and Bluearth days.
  • Hair that reaches the collar needs to be tied back.

If this is unable to be achieved on a particular day, please write a note or email to your child's classroom teacher..
