LIBRARY NEWS

Premier's Reading Challenge

The Premier's Reading Challenge aims to encourage a love of reading for leisure and pleasure in students, and to enable them to experience quality literature. Congratulations to all our K-6 students who participated this year. This year we had 271 students from K-6 who entered the challenge. Congratulations to:

  • Khloe and Emalee Sullivan who received their PLATINUM certificate. This is awarded to students who enter this challenge for 7 consecutive years.
  • Siara Walter, Isla Campbell, Annalise Boreham and Peyton Gippel all received their GOLD certificates. These are awarded to students who enter this challenge for 4 consecutive years.

Every student received a Participation award at Infants (if they were at our school at the end of August) because they participated in this as a class with the library and class teachers. Thank you Mrs Michell for this wonderful opportunity for all of our students at St Edward's and encouraging the love for reading.
