Y9 Outdoor Education
On Monday, 30 October students from two year 9 Outdoor Education classes attended Hardrock Climbing Gym in Melbourne’s CBD. All students were fantastic role models of our STARR values Success and Ambition, with everyone attempting a climb and some making it all the way to the top of the 30 metre challenging walls. Students also displayed Teamwork and Responsibility by following all instructions, keeping their climbing buddy safe on belay. Staff were especially pleased with the level of Respect students showed, to and from this event, using public transport, interacting with the community and representing our college proudly. Our students even stopped to help the elderly and acknowledge the challenges faced by Melbourne’s homeless population. Well done to all in attendance.
