Year 9 Metal

I really enjoyed metal and it was a class I always looked forward to. With little to no prior knowledge or skills with metal or jewellery making, I was able to design products and then create them while gaining skills like welding, bending, melting metal, and using jewellery saws to create many products like a wall sculpture, articulated pendant and a metal casting of my design. I met new people in the class and made friends. It's always a good time in design tech classrooms, which is one of the reasons why I love subjects like metal and wood so much. I like the creative freedom in metal and how I can work on my own projects but also have fun with friends.
