Middle School

The end of the year is fast approaching and we are all very excited about all the end of year events coming up!

IN OUR CLASSROOMS

The last few weeks have been focused on consolidating our knowledge. In our reading sessions students have been using text evidence to support their answers. In writing, students have been writing different types of poetry and used a writing prompt from novelist Joseph Fasano, to create some truly beautiful poems.

In our Numeracy sessions, we have revisited worded problems. Student's have focused on breaking down the questions to first work out what they're being asked to solve, before working out which of the 4 operations to use and then answering the question.

WE LOVE PIZZA!

Our pizza day last week was a huge success, with lots of big smiles and full tummies.
