LEAD IT!

Harry Foster - Year 6 Team Leader

Our Primary Captains recently embarked on a leadership-focused journey with Tripod Incursions, geared towards equipping them with lifelong leadership skills.

The captains explored their strengths, qualities and values, laying the groundwork for effective leadership. Through engaging activities, students considered the broader implications of their choices, behaviours and actions.

P - 2 Christmas Concert

Judy Paterson - P-2 Music Teacher

Excitement and anticipation filled the air as the Prep to Year 2 students took to stage last Friday to sing the wondrous story of Christmas. Their beautiful voices filled the Community Hub with songs of joy and praise that Jesus had come, and that He is Immanuel, God with us!

Elnathan Wong, a Year Two student was poised as he performed ‘Away in a Manger’ on the piano. It was enjoyed by all.

The concert was wonderfully supported by some enthusiastic Year Six Captains who with great expression narrated the story of our Saviour’s birth.

It was fun to hear the responses of the students as they were asked questions like:

‘What do you think Mary and Joseph said when they found out there was no room in the inn?’ and ‘Which animal would you be if you were in the stable?’

One thought it would have been fun to be the donkey, and another thought a cow! Many thought to be a chicken would have been ideal.

Parents and students sang the timeless carols, and delighted in watching their children sing out ‘Gloria, in excelsis deo!’ Truly we can say, ‘Glory to God in the highest!’
