So Many Reasons to Celebrate!

The DCC Christmas trees are up, and the fairy lights are twinkling – a lovely reminder that the Christmas Season is upon us. To add to this, our delightful students in Prep to Year 2 not only entertained, but with the help of the Year 6 narrators and staff, also guided us through a musical story at the P-2 Christmas Concert last Friday. 

 

I commend Catherine Fernihough for her vision, oversight and pulling together of the Christmas concert so beautifully. With our capable Primary music teachers, Dave and Judy, together with our supportive P-2 Staff, every student was well prepared to share the good news of Jesus. Every song, reading and reflection reminded us why Christmas is such an important time for gathering, for reflecting and for celebrating His birth.

 

In preparation for the year ahead, many of our Year 5 students have participated in the Student Leadership nomination process and have carefully considered the Primary Leaders for 2024. I congratulate each of the following students who will fulfil these roles next year:
