Chess Club runs during second break on WEDNESDAYS. Chess Club is facilitated by NORTHERN STAR Chess who provide an expert to run our chess sessions.
This term the students receive weekly lessons, where they are taught new skills and strategies. They play within a specific time frame and each week they compete against different Chess Club members. In 2024 OHR will host a chess tournament where students will compete against students from participating schools.
