Year 9 camp - a memorable adventure

Forty-one students participated in the week long camp to the Rubicon region of Victoria, engaging in various activities that pushed their limits and helped them to grow in multiple ways. Activities included:

Mountain Biking: They tackled challenging trails, boosting their self-confidence and physical skills.

Rafting: Through white-water rafting, they learned teamwork, effective communication, and built strong bonds.

Hiking: Exploring the wilderness on foot helped them connect with nature and develop resilience.

Camp Cook-Out: Students cooked up a delightful gnocchi carbonara on Trangia stoves, promoting teamwork and creativity.

Throughout the camp, students developed valuable life skills, including collaboration, leadership skills, and resilience. They rose to the challenges and created memorable experiences with their peers.

A special thank you needs to be given to the other staff who attended the camp: Taylah McConachy, Teagan Dixon, Kate Allison and Justine Bowers. The students couldn't have had this amazing experience without them. In particular, we are very grateful to Taylah for organising the camp and the bookings, your hard work is appreciated.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to more exciting adventures with your children in the future.
