News from our Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of accompanying Miss Bailey Thomson, one of our beginning teachers, to a Commissioning Mass at St Mary’s Cathedral with other early career teachers in Sydney Catholic Schools. As a wider community we were able to celebrate and pray for them as they begin their vocation as educators in Catholic education. It was a very special occasion for Miss Thomson and I am sure you all join me in congratulating her and wishing her all the best. Miss Thomson is a  passionate young educator who willingly shines her light to those around her, enabling her students to be “curious learners ready to thrive in 2025!”

Enrolments for 2026

Enrolments for Kindergarten 2026 are now open. Our Open Day’s last week were well attended and the tours that were led by some of our Year 5 and 6 students were outstanding. I thank those students for their leadership and willingness to give up some of their free time to live out our mercy value of service. I was so proud of our community as we showcased our school to many new families.

If you have a sibling starting school next year, I strongly advise you to please submit your enrolment for them in order to secure a place.

Let us pray:

May the presence of the Holy Spirit be with us.

May we ignite sparks of beauty wherever we are.

May the wisdom of those who travelled in the wilderness encourage us.

May we have the commitment to be witnesses wherever we are.

May we go forth into today and tomorrow, with open eyes to the light around us, in the people we meet and places we go.

May Christ guide our steps and light our path.

May we be pilgrims of hope during this Lenten season as we love and serve Christ.

AMEN
