On Tuesday the 11th of February the Korean service teachers and international students came to visit Vermont secondary college from Keimyung University. The first activity that we did with the Korean international students was a game where each person received a card that had something that was popular in Australia, such as Vegemite, Shapes or a Kangaroo. Then you would find the person with your card and sit together and get to know one another. Once you got to know your partner the prizes were announced such as the Australian flag or Vegemite themed socks. Once we finished the first activity we began to talk with the Korean international students and teachers over Pizza and soft drinks. After that they showed us their presentation that they had created including a fun K-pop boardgame, which we played until the end of lunch. At the end they each handed us our own little souvenir from Korea. We are all so grateful for them coming and the gifts. Overall we had a wonderful time with each other and got to know each other’s diversity and culture, we can’t wait for the next visit!

On Tuesday the 11th of February, we had Korean pre-service teachers come visit us from Keimyung University. The Digital Ambassadors were randomly partnered up by receiving tickets with Australian Icons on the tickets like Vegemite. We had a great time sharing how great our country was. We had pizza and had a good time and even played a board game in teams that the Koreans had made for us to play. Overall, it was a great time, and we hope to have them back to visit once again!

On Tuesday, 11th of February, Professor Ku of Keimyung University and her students came to visit Vermont Secondary College. We were each given a small piece of paper with an Australian symbolic item. Whoever had the matching symbolic item, was your partner. Once we were all paired up, we started having casual conversations about life in Korea, and many other things. We ate an amazing lunch including pizza and soda. After lunch, we all played a game that the Koreans kindly made for us. At the end, we all received little souvenirs. We all had a great time and were elated. We all are looking forward to possible future visits!
