Vocational Training

I am excited to share the achievements of two students – Lily and Seth.

On 21st February, I attended the graduation ceremony at Platinum Institute of Australia for Lily and Seth as they recently completed their Certificate II in Building and Construction pre-apprenticeship. I can proudly announce they have both since secured employment within the building industry! Their success is a reflection of their dedication and commitment to vocational training and we are incredibly pleased about their accomplishments.

As Lily and Seth embark on their new careers outside of Ballarat High School, we also wish the very best to Jai, a Year 11 student, who joined the program in January. Jai is eager to develop the same skills and get the same experiences that may ultimately launch him into the Building and Construction industry – just as Lily and Seth have.

All three students share a passion for hands-on work, a strong interest in construction and have set ambitious goals for their future careers. Their drive and enthusiasm make them excellent candidates for this vocational training and we are confident they will continue to thrive in this field.

Congratulations again to Lily and Seth and best of luck to Jai as he begins his journey.

The Careers Centre at Ballarat High School is committed to supporting all students with their individual aspirations, including those who choose this type of training. I look forward to seeing all the future successes of our students as they each work towards their own destination.

Careers and pathways appointments are available to all students – please get in touch will Ally or Joanne to book a time.
