Careers Corner

Career education plays a crucial role informal education, providing students with the essential skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to make informed career choice and thrive in the ever-changing global job market. 

The Careers Department has been working behind the scenes preparing the Career Education lessons for delivery during 2025. These will be delivered during Badano lessons and will commence in Term 2. A key focus for Year 9 and Year 10 will be subject selection to prepare students for entry into Years 10 and 11.

The following lesson schedule will follow for Years 7-10:

Year 7:

Term 2 Weeks 2 and 5

Term 4 Weeks 2 and 3

Year 8:Term 2 Weeks 9, 10, and 11

Year 9:

Term 2 Weeks 10 and 11

Term 3 Weeks 1-3

Year 10:

Term 2 Weeks 2-5, 10, and 11

Term 3 Weeks 1-3
