Colour Run Fundraising Event

Thank you to our community for supporting one of our major fundraisers for the year. Sincere thanks is extended to Lauren Goodwin for coordinating such a wonderful community event. The event raised in excess of $11 000 which will be put towards the resurfacing of the Basketball Court. A heartfelt thanks to everyone who provided support to run this event; WPPS teaching and ES team, school council members working on the BBQ, Their Care for the donation of the sausages and the Wonga Park CFA for the generous donation of their time.

Whole School Cross Country

What a beautiful day it was on Friday - just a perfect day for the Annual School Cross Country Event. Many thanks to Mike O'Dwyer for all his hard work, and also Kate, Jodie and the incredible band of parent helpers who supported them and to Julie E ... this wonderful support ensured the day was a huge success.

Warrandyte Festival

Thanks to our school captains and two other students from our school for representing Wonga Park PS so capably in the parade at the Warrandyte Festival on the weekend.

Understanding the importance of belonging to a community is essential, and we truly appreciate the time they dedicated to the event. The CFA member in the photo with our students also has a special connection to WPPS—I wonder if you know the connection?

Thanks is also extended to our choir, led by Tim Phillips and supported by Kristy Salisbury. The choir performed beautifully to quite a large audience. We hope the students enjoyed the experience - I am sure the audience were delighted by their voices.
