Week 10

More details to follow, however families are invited to attend our market and are able to purchase our students items where all money will go to a charity.
Last week, 43 of our 5/6 students attended the "first full" Lorne Camp. Students experienced camping with their friends, cooking meals/washing up, enjoying their time outdoors to pass the time, beach activities, long walks in the bush/streets/lookouts/piers, exploring rock pools/local nature, surfing and Livewire. Thank you to Mrs Belden and Mr Reid for helping out with the camp and making it an enjoyable experience for our students. Below, read what of some students said about the camp.
Maddi - Surfing, because I improved from the start to the end.
Thea - I loved doing Livewire because it made me come out of my comfort zone and realising that heights aren't as scary.
Ele - I enjoyed the 6km walk to Teddy's Lookout since it was such a magical and wonderful view of the ocean.
Caysie - I loved doing Livewire because it was challenging and I got to enjoy time with friends while exploring the live wire park with friends.
Travis - I liked Livewire because when I was on stage 4, I missed the platform and I got stuck dangling for about 3 minutes before a staff member got me down. Afterwards, I went in the ball pit and had ice cream!
Penny - I enjoyed Livewire because at the end of one course there was a big zipline and it was so fun to go down.
Bella - I loved Livewire because even though I was scared at first, I overcame my fears after I went down the first zipline on course 3.
Will - I loved the zipline at Livewire Park since that it was simple after jumping off.
Thank yous!

Apex.
Thanks to Apex for supplying the BBQ and many items that came wit it. The BBQ was a huge help in cooking our meals so our students were well fed!
