Amazing Art in The Foyer

Have a look at the amazing artwork our students have completed as part of our 2024 Journal Front cover competition.  All these covers demonstrate that our students understand the HEPS values of Respect, Resilience, Teamwork and Growth.  Please have a look at them next time you come past the office.  

HEPS Whole School Reward 

At HEPS we implement a whole school reward system to celebrate our achievements. Each time a student performs a positive behaviour they receive a gem that is collected in a jar that is kept in that student's classroom.  When the jar is full the class tip the gems in the whole school jar that you can see above.  This term there are two options for classes to choose from when they fill their class jar.  The first is a longer lunchtime for a day and the second is a teacher swap for an afternoon.   As you can see in the photo above the students can clearly see which option is currently 'winning'.  This demonstrates to the students that their positive behaviours have real and visible outcomes.
