Level 6

Writing

Writing in Term 4 looks a little different for our Level 6 students! We have started writing some special pieces for our end of year scrapbook. Each year our Level 6 students create a wonderful scrapbook as a keepsake of their time at primary school. Each week we create a different text type based on a year of our schooling. We have completed a narrative, recount and are currently working on our procedural writing. We can’t wait to see the finished product!

Production

We are just so proud of the resilience, teamwork, respect and growth the students showed during our production! Level 6 students excelled in their roles, whether it was on the stage, back stage crew or tech crew! We also had a great support in our Level 5 understudies who we felt were ready and willing if we needed them to step up. Months of hard work went into the making and we are just beaming with pride.

A BIG THANK YOU TO MISS AUSTIN AND THE PRODUCTION TEAM FOR MAKING ZOOM THE BEST SHOW EVER!

Volleybounce Division Finals

On Friday the 13th (unlucky for some) we had two teams represent HEPS at the division finals for volleybounce. We had one girls team and one mixed team. Both teams have shown great commitment and teamwork throughout the year. They can often be found at the volleyball courts almost every snack and lunchtime! The girls team played extremely well, however we came across some great opponents and lost both games 2 sets to 1. The boys team only had to win one game, and they absolutely smashed it, even winning one set 15-1! Congratulations to the boys for making it through to regionals. Well done to the girls team for being the first team at HEPS to make it through to division! Your commitment and dedication has been exemplary!
