PE

During Physical Education sessions throughout Term 4, students have worked on developing their gross motor skills through various activities.  Gross motor skills require whole body movement and the use of large muscle groups.  The activities in these sessions have focused on:

- body awareness

- balance

- coordination

- crossing the midline

Students participated in activities such as:

  • climbing
  • balancing
  • obstacle courses
  • walking on different surfaces
  • buiding with large boxes
  • posting items 
  • throwing different objects
