ALL WELCOME – WORSHIP AT ST PAUL

Everyone is welcome to join us on Sunday morning for worship. Worship times are 8.30am for a Traditional Service and 10.00am for a more Contemporary service with Godly Play on offer for Primary School aged children. Tea and Coffee and a time of gathering is held most weeks after both worship services. For the first Sunday of the month, there is one combined service, with a blended style of worship.

PLAYGROUP @ ST PAUL

Playgroup @St Paul is on each Tuesday during Term time in the Hall.  We welcome people anytime from 8.30 onwards to help set up. Join us for a coffee, playtime, story time and songs from 9-10.30 each week during school terms. Cost is $2 per family.  We offer a simple craft, a sensory activity and read a book related to a different theme each week.

This week we did some free painting at the easel and played with kinetic sand in the sensory play space. Next time you’re walking along the corridor between the school and the hall, stop and have a look at the display of what we have been doing at Playgroup this year.

Next week we will be making ants at the craft table and reading the book ‘Millie Loves Ants’ by Jackie French.

GROWING FAITH AT HOME

This resource is developed by the Lutheran Church of Australia and is intended to be a guide in sharing faith activities with members of your family.

Here are a few ways you could introduce faith discussions in your home and day-to-day life.

This week the in the Bible readings, Jesus was asked the question about paying taxes to Caesar.  Jesus said, “Give the Emperor what belongs to him and give God what belongs to God” (Matthew 22:21).

By this Jesus means that we are to honour our earthly rulers and authorities, but to also enjoy the gifts that God gives us.  In return, he asks that we give gifts of ourselves to God, in time and money, with a thankful heart.  And he certainly wasn’t against paying taxes to the government.

Mealtime Prayer:

All thanks to God who gives us food and blesses all our days. To him who rules from Heaven above, we offer heartfelt praise. Amen.

Prayer:

We praise you Lord, for you are great and mighty, there is no one like you. Amen.

Blessing:

(Child’s Name) May God give you faith, love and hope and keep you strong in following him.  Amen.
