Resource Lists for 2024 students
Resource lists for students entering Prep to Year 10 in 2024 were emailed to parents earlier this week. Orders must be completed online at www.campion.com.au using 'VW8R' as the access code, and be prepaid by credit card to Campion.
Resource lists can also be found on My Aitken at:
https://myaitken.fireflycloud.net.au/booklists-1.
All digital resources listed on the booklists must be ordered via Campion. Any students who do not have these resources supplied by Campion will have the items charged to their school fees, with an additional processing fee of $5 per item.
Dunhelen students have all been informed of their 2024 elective subjects via their homeroom teacher. If you have any questions about which elective subjects your child will be doing in 2024 (Year 8 to Year 10), please contact their current Head of Year.
Due dates for orders:
Year 11 & 12: orders were due by 29 October for delivery in time for Early Commencement, which starts on 21 November.
Prep to Year 10: orders are due by 17 December for delivery in time for the start of Term 1
Any orders placed after these dates will still be processed by Campion, but delivery may be delayed.
Please note that there may be some VCE texts that have not yet been published in time for Early Commencement; these will be distributed to students by subject teachers as soon as they arrive, usually very early in Term 1.
ICT devices for 2024
Please make sure you have planned ahead regarding any new devices your children will need to use at school in 2024. There is usually very high demand for devices in December and January as families across the country try to find what they need for gifts and school preparation.
At Aitken College, all students in Year 3 to 9 need to have an iPad for school use; students from Year 10 to 12 can use an iPad or a Macbook.
Placing your orders early will increase the chances that what you want will still be in stock and that devices will arrive in time for the start of the school year.
More detailed information about device requirements was emailed to parents earlier this term. A summary of this information, along with a school code for JB HiFi ordering can be found at https://myaitken.fireflycloud.net.au/ehelp/jb-hifi-device-purchasing.
