Year 11 VM Personal Development Class BBQ

On Thursday the 26th of October, the Year 11 VM PDS class ran a BBQ for all Year 11s, an event that brought out the best in us. This event wasn't just about grilling up some tasty snags, it was a chance for us to shine and prove our teamwork, communication, organization, and leadership skills. 

First, we banded together like never before to make the BBQ a hit. Teamwork was at the heart of it all, from setting up the BBQs and food tables, to making sure everyone had a fantastic time. We had to trust each other, tackle challenges together, and created something memorable. We couldn't have done it without clear communication.  

In the lead up to the day, we talked through ideas, adapted to changes on the fly, and made it all happen. These are skills that will serve us well in school and life. We also took charge of organizing the whole event, from planning the menu to managing the schedule. It was a great opportunity to showcase our organizational skills, which will surely be handy as we move forward. Thanks to the VM PDS BBQ, we're more confident than ever about our abilities and excited about what the future holds for us.
