Captains' Corner

2024 Chapel Captains 

Hi! Our names are Arwen and Dimity and we are so excited and grateful to be your 2024 Chapel Captains! We thought we’d start off by letting you know a little about ourselves. 

We have both been at Clayfield for several years and love and thrive off the close-knit community! We are super involved in the music department and are part of Chapel Band. We both have quite different faith journeys which we are excited to share moving into next year! We can’t wait to lead our College throughout 2024, and help you learn from Christianity.

In 2024, we want to focus on care within the Clayfield community. We want to make a difference. Through caring for our peers, and demonstrating God’s will through our examples, we want to give everyone the opportunity to get to know Jesus.

In our roles over the next year, we’d love to make Chapel a space where everyone feels cared for. We want Chapel to be the one time of the week where everyone feels relieved of any external pressures such as school or other activities. Everyone should be able to walk into Chapel feeling calm and content, ready to learn from Jesus.

We are excited to give our own messages during Chapel time. Through conversations with the rest of our school, we can find topics that our peers would like us to discuss. This gives us the opportunity to connect with students, as well as bring God’s message through contemporary subject matter. We think the Chapel band is also such an important part of worship, and we have many new and exciting ideas and songs planned for 2024. 

We can’t wait to see what God’s will is for us moving into 2024!
