2024 School for Student Leadership – Year 9 Term 2 at the Gnurad Gundidji Campus

The School for Student Leadership (SSL) is a Victorian Department of Education and Training school specialising in leadership education for students in Year 9. BHS has been very fortunate to secure a placement for 6x Year 9 students (3 boys and 3 girls) to attend the eight week program in Term 2, 2024 at the School for Student leadership – Gnurad Gundidji campus.

Once interested Year 8 students completed a written application with a reference from a teacher, 14 students were interviewed, such was the calibre of our wonderful Belmont High students. The interview panel consisted of two teachers & two students who are part of our current 2023 SSL team. Well done to all the applicants for their passion and enthusiasm in wanting to make a difference to themselves and our community.

We are pleased to announce the successful applicants who had their first official meeting Tuesday 7th November & were also supported by our current 2023 SSL team. Congratulations to the following students:
