Grade 5/6
We’ve had an incredibly busy couple of weeks in Year 5/6.
During reading, we’ve been locating important information, making connections, and synthesising texts following reading. We’ve been exploring Indigenous texts and the kids have been learning about morals and lessons. They have been translating this knowledge into their picture story books that they have been working on for the preps. In Maths, we have been focusing on chance activities and measuring tasks involving time and angles. Over the coming weeks, we have some exciting excursions coming up along with some busy transition days as we wrap up the end of an incredible year!
