Update to the School Crossing process starting Term 2

The safety of our students remains our highest priority. To further strengthen our approach to safe arrivals and departures from and to the College, we have updated the school crossing process, which is within our students' supervision procedure. The update includes new tools that support staff supervising students, and will be effective from day 1 of Term 2.

Watch the short video below.

Staff members on crossing duty will now be equipped with enhanced safety tools designed to improve visibility, communication, and traffic awareness.

The updated procedure has been developed to:

  • Improve student safety during busy drop-off and pick-up times
  • Increase visibility for both students and supervising staff
  • Promote safer interactions between pedestrians and vehicles

Students will continue to be guided by staff when crossing roads near the school. We request families to:

  • Follow all directions given by staff on duty
  • Use designated crossing areas only
  • Be mindful of reduced speeds in school zones
  • Set a positive example by practising safe road behaviour

By working together, staff, students, and families, we can ensure that everyone arrives at and leaves school safely each day.

Thank you for your continued support.

Community Easter Service Highlights

On Thursday 2 April, we gathered as a whole college to remember and reflect on our Lord's salvation, remembering His suffering on the cross, His death, and His victory over death and evil through His resurrection

It was wonderful to see our ELC students, junior school students from both campuses, and secondary school students worshipping together, giving all the glory to our loving God, and celebrating Easter in unity

We were pleased to welcome many of our families and neighbours to the service. Thank you to everyone who could join us!

Year 12 Apple Picking Excursion to Lenswood

The Year 12 Business Innovation students enjoyed an informative (and delicious) excursion to Lenswood - Pick Your Own, where we met the owner, Emily, and learnt about their specific, unique business model.

The students got to see a real-life application of a tourism-based business model, including decision making in marketing, staffing, pricing, costs and target markets and we then applied it to a Business Model Canvas back in the classroom.

We also got to sample some very cold, refreshing apple juice, as well as picking some apples to take home to our families. This experience has deepened our knowledge of how to build our own business and will be very beneficial in the classroom and in the future.

Year 12 Formal

On Friday Week 9, our Year 12 students arrived in style at the Adelaide Pavilion for their Year 12 Formal.

It was a stunning evening spent with a wonderful group of students, hosted by Mr Bailey and Miss Lampard. The night featured delicious food, live music, awards, prizes and plenty of dancing.

Congratulations to the Year 12 Formal Committee and staff for organising such a memorable event.
