YEAR 4

FROM THE TEAM
As we finish the final week of term, it has been an exciting week of revision and celebration in Year 4.
In Reading, we reviewed our comprehension skills, focusing on identifying the main idea, summarising texts, and strengthening vocabulary.
In Writing, students have been finalising their independent discussion pieces. Be sure to ask your child what topic they chose to write about and the opinions they explored.
In Mathematics, we revised addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division strategies through fun Easter-themed worksheets and games.
In Inquiry, students completed their own countries using the information they have learned about Australia’s neighbouring countries. These have been
proudly displayed on our
classroom world map.
We also enjoyed creating and sharing our Easter bonnets during the whole-school parade—it was wonderful to see everyone’s creativity on display.
Camp planning is well and truly underway, and students are very excited. Please watch this space for further information.
