Welcome Joseph to Year 5/6

Welcome to Joseph who joins our Year 5 cohort as part of Year 5/6A with Ms Commerford and Ms Giblett.  I know you will all make Joseph and his family feel welcome at St Christopher's School.

Avila / Salesian Day

Alysha and I accompanied our Year 4 girls to Avila and Ms Sollecito and Melissa joined the Year 4 boys at Salesian.  Both schools did a wonderful job of organising a variety of experiences for our students and students from other schools as well.  As you can see from the photos, our students experienced amazing technology such as 3D headsets to explore the ocean, use robotics, run simple experiments in the science labs and engage in a range of other activities that highlighted what subjects are on offer at secondary schools.  As usual staff at both schools were very accomodating and welcoming.  I hope you enjoy viewing additional photos of our students' experience at Avila and Salesian. 

Working with Children Check

The Working with Children Check is a screening process for assessing or re-assessing people who work or care for children in Victoria. 

All visitors to the school require a valid WWCC to be able to attend excursions or assist within the classroom. Could all adults attending excursions or assisting in the classrooms please ensure they carry their valid card with them, or have access to it via the Services Victoria App. This card number if required when signing in at the school office and will also need to be viewed by the office staff at the time.

Mother's Day Stall/Mass 11.30am

Tomorrow we are holding the Mother's Day Stall.

All students will have the opportunity to visit the stall, with their teachers in their classes, to buy a special gift for their mums or mother figures from the school Mother's Day Stall organised by the Parents Association. Gifts will range from $2 to $10 (Maximum spend is $10). Please send some money to school with your child on the day if you would like them to participate.

Please feel free to join us at 11:30am on Friday for the Mother's Day Mass.
