Conference Thank-you Luncheon 

On Saturday 22nd June, the Trustees, Brigidine and Presentation sisters, the entire Conference Committee, Principals and Kildare Ministries staff came together to enjoy a festive lunch and to celebrate the success of the conference at the Treacy Centre in Parkville. 

The room was filled with joyful chatter as people reconnected. It was so heartwarming to be together in person when so much of the planning and work was done online across Australia. To be on the other side of the conference, on the other side of all their hard work and commitment with such a successful result, buoyed everyone with gratitude. This collective mood was echoed in the words of Rosemary and Kathy, Co-Chairs of the Trustees, who addressed the gathering. 

The enormous investment of time, money and effort to create an encounter of that size and across that span is matched by both gratitude and the promise of what can become of our encounter in the future.  As a symbolic reminder of the conference and its theme 'Crossing New Seas', all were presented with a custom-made glass boat.
