Dear families,
Thanks to those who placed orders in the Pie Drive - orders will be ready for collection/sent home with students on Wednesday 14 August.
Helpers are still needed to help pack Pie Drive orders on Wednesday, 14th August in the school hall from around 2.00pm - 3.00pm.

Book Week is on next week, the teachers have some great activities planned including the Dress Up Parade on Friday, 16th August.
The P&F have organised a coffee van to serve hot drinks from 8.30am - 9.10am prior to the parade. Come along early to get a hot drink. The van will be located next to the sandpit area.
Order for the Father’s Day Stall has now opened in CDF Pay. There are some great gift ideas available, see the flyer below for full details.
The Father’s Day Celebration will also be on later in the month. It is a busy term, keep up to date by checking details in the newsletter and on PAM/Simon.

The P&F have arranged a coffee van to attend the Book Week Dress Up Parade at school on Friday 16 August for families to have the opportunity to purchase a hot drink before watching the parade.

Father’s Day Stall
The Parents and Friends present the Father’s Day Stall. Students are invited to purchase gifts for their father or someone special.
We have sourced items which we think make great gifts. The stall is also a fundraiser which will allow the P&F to put funds towards extra resources at school and assist in holding social events for the school community.
Items selected at random, colours/designs are not able to be chosen. Items may vary from pictures.
Orders are now open, place your order via CDF Pay by 4pm on

Father’s Day Celebration
Friday, 30th August
Fathers and father figures in our school community are invited to the Father’s Day Celebration on Friday, 30th August from 8.30am - 10.00am.
Classrooms will be open from 8.30am until 10.00am for fathers to look through and do reading with their children.
A special Father’s Day prayer will take place at assembly from 9.00am-9.20am. There will also be the opportunity to take photos in the courtyard.

P&F Meeting - Term 3
The P&F Committee recently held a meeting on Wednesday, 31st July. Thanks to those who attended. Minutes of the meeting will be circulated on the newsletter once finalised.
The next meeting of the P&F will be held in Term 4 on Wednesday 9 October 2024, from 2.30pm - 3.15pm.
Please try to come along to show your support for the P&F. The P&F can only operate with input from the school community.
Register to be a volunteer
If you have a few hours to spare during the year and would like to get involved in the school community please register your interest to be involved as a parent helper through the P&F.
You can register your interest via email parentsandfriends@sbshepparton.catholic.edu.au.
*Volunteer requirements*
Volunteers must hold a current Working With Children’s Check. These details must be supplied to the school office to also be held confidentially. WWCC’s are free for volunteers, you can apply through the Working With Children Check Victoria website.
Business interest
Do you own/run a business, or know of a business, that may be interested in being involved in supporting the school community through fundraisers, sponsorship, in-kind support or at events?
