Columba Photo Days 2024
This is a reminder that the upcoming Photo Days for Columba 2024 will take place on the dates below:
Junior School and Year 12s: Monday 29 July (Lower Theatre)
Senior School: Tuesday 6 August (Dance Studio)
Pre-Kindergarten and Follow Up Day: Wednesday 21 August, 8.30am – 10.30am (Lower Theatre)
These days help us capture the various groups and teams that make up ASC and will be showcased in the 2024 yearbook.
Schedules will be distributed to staff and students with detailed information.
UNIFORM
Students are required to wear their formal winter uniform and we encourage you to remind students about the College's uniform guidelines and assist them in looking neat and tidy on the day.
Interhouse Athletics Carnival 2024 – Are You Ready?
Get ready for the most anticipated event of the year - the ASC Interhouse Athletics Carnival 2024! This year, we're raising the bar with even more fun and excitement. We've introduced changes to ensure EVERYONE can be part of the action!
Mark your calendars for Thursday 15 August (Senior School) and Friday 16 August (Junior School). Our students have been diligently preparing for this event, honing their skills in classes. As the Interhouse Athletics Carnival approaches, we have some pre-events lined up to guarantee everyone gets a chance to participate in the new athletics games!
This year, we are continuing with the 1500m and Javelin events before the carnival day. This is to allow students to take part in some athletics games and also for greater numbers to compete in shot put and long jump.
Dates for Pre-Events:
Week 2: Tuesday 23 July (Periods 5 and 6)
Year 11/12 pre-events. 1500m and javelin
Remaining Year 11 and 12 students can choose an event to practice.
Week 3: Tuesday 30 July (periods 5 and 6)
Year 7 pre meet. All events to practice.
Week 3: Thursday 1 August (periods 5 and 6)
Year 7, 8, and 10 pre-events afternoon. 1500m and javelin
Students who have signed up for these events attend.
Week 4: Wednesday 7 August (Period 5)
Year 9 pre-events 1500m and javelin (when they return from camp)
Carnival Details:
The Interhouse Athletics Carnival will take place on Thursday of Week 5 and will be a day of friendly competition and House spirit! The full program, with all the exciting details, will be released two weeks before the event. Keep an eye on your emails and MyASC and get ready to witness exceptional athletic talent and teamwork!
The SHPE team eagerly anticipates this event. It's more than just a carnival; it's a celebration of skills, passion and dedication to athletics and your House. Let's come together, cheer each other on and create memories that will last a lifetime!

College Canteen Updated Service
The College’s Canteen partner Chartwells has developed updated menus for online ordering for Junior School and Senior School students for Term 3. Senior School students must now order a main meal when ordering online, so if you are only after a snack or drink, simply walk in during recess or lunch to purchase. A new initiative for Term 3, the Canteen is now offering breakfast from 8.00am with a new Café menu available and we invite students and staff to give it a try!
