Year 6

Writing Informal Letters

In Year 6, students have been learning about writing informal letters. We all wrote a letter to someone in our families. Most students chose to write to their family in Australia and some students chose to write and send it to their families overseas. 

We wrote about what’s happening in our lives and why we were writing this letter to them. We asked if they were well and about their lives. 

We also had a chance to make an envelope and put our letters in it, and then we got to post the letter in the Australian Post box outside our school so the recipients can receive it. 

We are hoping to get a response!
