Welcome back to Term 3! We hope you all had a restful break and enjoyed the holidays with your children.
What a fantastic first week we had with many hub participants attending our hub programs. Our first Citizenship Class took place on Friday and was a huge success with over 25 highly engaged participants in attendance. It was evident that this class holds great value, and we are delighted to support our community in their journey towards Australian citizenship.
We also celebrated NAIDOC Week. A special week that celebrates the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Australia. Our children had lots of fun listening to traditional Aboriginal stories and retelling them by painting on rocks and tree bark.
On the Springvale Campus, we welcomed special guest Chintha who visited our Women’s Wellbeing Group to teach our women how to make a healthy traditional dish from Sri Lanka, Coconut Roti. It tasted delicious and we were even able to spoil some teachers too!
We are excited for another jammed pack term with lots of exciting things planned.
Our Annual Women’s Health Forum has been planned for Thursday the 5th of September so please save the date!
Here’s a quick reminder of all the available programs we have on offer this term.
