Bulldogs Read

On Friday the 19th of July, Year 5 students participating in the Bulldogs Read Program made their way down to Melbourne for a very exciting opportunity. Students were invited by the Western Bulldogs Football Club to observe their training session at Whitten Oval in Footscray. This began with the players having a run around the oval before moving into their indoor training complex for some drills. We were lucky enough to be invited inside the venue following this, with the students getting up close and personal with many of the footballers to get autographs.

Afterwards, students completed a Trivia competition, working with other students from Bungaree Primary School and Buninyong Primary School to answer footy and book related questions. Well done to Tegan who was part of the winning team! We finished our experience with a kick on Whitten Oval and a play on the playground before making our way back to school.

The Bulldogs Read students continue to work hard on completing and uploading their book reviews, with our school currently succeeding in completing the most reviews across the entire program so far. Make sure you keep an eye on the Bulldogs Read website to check out the latest book reviews our students are submitting. https://www.bulldogsread.com.au/
