Mini Olympics
On Friday, August 9th, students participated in the St Mary's Mini Olympics. The children were asked to dress up representing a country of their choice and spent the first part of the session drawing and designing their flag for the Opening Ceremony. Students then participated in many Olympic-style activities such as Javelin, Hammer throw, and Steeple Chase and concluded with a Marathon around the school. It was amazing to see the students dress up and participate in all of the activities. A special mention to our playgroup friends and community neighbours who joined us on the day.

Students have been amazed at the amount of damage that these disasters cause around our country and have made the observations of when these disasters are more likely to occur.
