Welcome back to Term 3!

Hopefully you all had a restful break and are ready for an exciting term ahead. It has been a really smooth start this week and our student leaders have supported classes with resources to celebrate NAIDOC Week.  I would like to acknowledge the 24 Grade 5 & 6 students who represented our school at the Victorian High Ability Program Masterclass Workshop on the last day of Term 2.

We have a number of in-school events this term and also excursions and sports events. We look forward to the 100 Days of Prep, Olympics Day, Book Week Parade, Year 2 Dinner and Disco, The Year 6 Rock of Ages and many sporting events! We've already had a really successful day at the Girls AFL and Boys Netball Gala Day  yesterday.....you can read about this further along in this newsletter.

We are very excited to cheer on our Australian Olympians in Paris. We are lucky to have TWO family members of some of our staff competing at the Olympics and we will feature some athlete spotlights in our next newsletter.
