Marketplace Shopping Centre

I would like to reiterate the importance of our students travelling directly to and from school. 

Students are reminded that they are NOT TO VISIT the Lilydale Marketplace Shopping Centre before and after school unless accompanied by a parent. 

Centre management has contacted the school and requested that students refrain from visiting the Marketplace during these times.

I would appreciate everyone’s cooperation in ensuring that students are safe at school, arriving on time, not loitering around the shopping precinct and dangerously crossing the road on the bend outside the Box Hill Institute driveway.

Student Absent Reminder

When your child is marked ABSENT without parent approval before 10.45 am, you will receive an SMS message containing an attendance link.

Please click the attendance link to ADD aparent approval note, to explain the reason for absence.

School Uniform

New Navy Puffer Vests

The Lilydale High School navy puffer vests are available at LOWES for $79.95.

Mobile Phones

Student mobile phones must be kept locked in lockers at all times throughout the school day. 

A Principal After School Detention will apply for any student using their mobile phone whilst at school. 

Parents and Carers, if you need to contact your child throughout the day, please contact the Sub School Offices and a message will be forwarded to your child.

Chromebooks /Notebooks

These devices are a very important learning tool that should be ready to use at school every day.  Students are expected to:

• Bring their device to school with the battery FULLY charged every day
• Ensure that their device is stored securely in their locker when not being used
• In class, their device will be used at the discretion of the classroom teacher – students must take their device to every class (unless explicitly told not too), but the class teacher will determine when and how it is used in class
• If a student leaves the device at home, the student is responsible for completing all work to the best of their abilities as if a device were present
• Devices must ONLY be used for educational purposes. 
• Devices are NOT to be used at recess or lunchtime unless being used in the Library (for VCE students) for educational purposes

Saver Plus is a matched saving program that can help families to establish a long-term savings habit, build their money management skills and save for education costs. 

The program is funded by ANZ and the Australian Government Department of Social Services, with ANZ providing matched savings for participants.
